How to buy and sell Pokémon and items with the Global Trade System (/gts) on Blaze Gaming's Pixelmon and Cobblemon servers, plus Wonder Trade and safe trading.

On our wiki, we use the following icons when features are restricted in some way. Below are the icons and what they mean:

Short answer: the Global Trade System (GTS) is a market where you buy and sell Pokémon and items with other players. Type /gts to browse it, or /gts sell to put something up for sale. Prices are in coins or Blazebux, and it works the same way on our Pixelmon and Cobblemon servers.

How do I sell something?

  1. Type /gts sell, or open /gts and choose to sell.

  2. Pick the Pokémon or item you want to sell.

  3. Set your price in coins or Blazebux, then confirm.

Your listing stays up until someone buys it or it expires. When it sells, the money goes straight to your balance. If it doesn't sell in time, it comes back to you automatically.

How do I buy something?

Type /gts, look through the listings and pick the one you want. The price comes out of your coins or Blazebux on that server.

Listing rules

  • Listings expire after a while. Anything that didn't sell comes back to you.

  • No tax: you keep the full price when something sells.

  • Higher ranks can list more at once. Type /ranks to compare ranks.

  • Untradeable Pokémon can't be listed.

  • Each server has its own GTS. Pixelmon and Cobblemon listings, coins and Blazebux are separate.

Wonder Trade

Wonder Trade swaps one of your Pokémon for a random Pokémon that another player sent. Type /wondertrade and pick the Pokémon to send. You won't know what you'll get until the trade happens.

  • There's a cooldown between Wonder Trades.

  • Untradeable Pokémon can't be sent.

Trade safely

  • Use the GTS for deals with other players. It swaps the Pokémon or item and the payment automatically, so nobody has to go first and trust the other person.

  • Check what you're buying. Posting fake or renamed items on the GTS to trick buyers is against our rules. If you spot one, report the seller with /report [player] in game, or open a support ticket in our Discord.

  • Never pay real money outside our store. Our rules say any trade for real money has to go through our store, for example with a gift card.

Frequently asked questions

Can I sell legendaries on the GTS?

Yes, as long as they aren't untradeable. Buying one on the GTS is also one of the ways to get a legendary (see Legendary Spawning).

How do I know what to charge?

Look up similar Pokémon or items on /gts and see what they're listed for.

Should I sell for coins or Blazebux?

Either works. Coins are earned in game, and Blazebux come from our store and from prizes. Keep in mind that coins start fresh at a new season, while Blazebux carry over. See Server Currencies & Ranks.

How many things can I list at once?

It depends on your rank: higher ranks can list more. Type /ranks to see what each rank includes.

Can I trade between Pixelmon and Cobblemon?

Not directly. Each server has its own GTS, and your Pokémon, items, coins and Blazebux stay on the server where you got them. Our rules allow trades between the two servers only as gift card deals, where one side of the trade is a store gift card.
