**Short answer:** each of our servers holds a tournament every month. On Pixelmon it's the **Mega Monthly Tournament (MMT)**, and our Cobblemon server has its own monthly tournament. Each one is announced in our [Discord](https://discord.gg/blaze) with a sign-up link, its rules and its prizes. Grab the **@Tourney** role in Discord so you don't miss them.
{% hint style="info" %}
The "Mega" in Mega Monthly Tournament is just its name. Mega Evolution is only on our Pixelmon server, and each tournament's own rules say what's allowed.
{% endhint %}
## How do I sign up?
{% stepper %}
{% step %}
#### Get the @Tourney role
In our [Discord](https://discord.gg/blaze), pick up the **@Tourney** role. It's the same role for Pixelmon and Cobblemon, and it pings you when a tournament is announced.
{% endstep %}
{% step %}
#### Read the announcement
Each tournament gets its own announcement in Discord, and Pixelmon MMTs are also posted on [mc-blaze.com](https://mc-blaze.com). It lists the format, the rules, the schedule and the prizes.
{% endstep %}
{% step %}
#### Sign up on Challonge
Use the **Challonge sign-up link** in the announcement while sign-ups are open.
{% endstep %}
{% step %}
#### Build your team and show up
Build a team that fits the rules, then be online in time for your matches.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}
## How does a tournament work?
* **The community picks the format.** Our community votes on it in Discord, so it can change from month to month.
* **On Pixelmon, qualifiers then a final.** The September 2026 MMT, for example, ran two qualifiers on the same day at different times, then a Championship Day. Each announcement has the exact times.
* **The rules are in each announcement.** The September 2026 MMT, for example, was Singles 6v6 with a level cap of 100, a tier for the month (for example Gen 7 ZU), limits on legendaries, Ultra Beasts and mythicals, and the Species, Sleep, Evasion and Endless Battle clauses. Some moves and items are banned each month, so always read the list.
* **Any Pokémon you got on our server is allowed,** as long as it fits that month's rules. That includes Pokémon boosted with items from our [store](https://store.mc-blaze.com/).
* **Disputes:** the staff hosting the tournament settle them, and their decision is final.
## What can I win?
Every announcement lists that month's prizes. Prizes go to the top places, and qualifier players can win something too. Prizes have included:
* Blazebux
* crate keys
* special Pokémon, including legendaries
* exclusive cosmetics, such as a chat color, a tag or a custom Pokémon skin
* a spot in our **Hall of Fame**
Blazebux and crate keys can also be bought in our [store](https://store.mc-blaze.com/). See [Server Currencies & Ranks](/info-pages/server-currencies.md) for what Blazebux and crate keys do.
## Hall of Fame and results
Winners can have their in-game name on the podium in our in-game Hall of Fame. We only show your name if you say yes, and we only use in-game names.
## Frequently asked questions
### Do I need a rank or the store to take part?
No. You don't need a rank or anything from the store. You only need a team that fits the rules.
### Can I play on Cobblemon and Pixelmon?
Yes. Each server has its own monthly tournament, and the @Tourney role covers both.
### I missed the sign-up. Can I still join?
Sign up through the link while it's open; the announcement says when sign-ups close. If you miss one, there's a new tournament every month, and the @Tourney ping tells you when.
### Where can I practise?
Battle other players on the server, and check [Cobblemon vs Pixelmon](/info-pages/cobblemon-vs-pixelmon.md) for how battles work on each server.
*Checked for Storm V (Pixelmon) and Infinity I (Cobblemon). Spotted a mistake? Tell us in our* [*Discord*](https://discord.gg/blaze)*.*
