**Short answer:** Blaze Gaming runs two free Pokémon servers for Minecraft: Java Edition, one with the Pixelmon mod and one with Cobblemon. Chat has an automatic filter and staff moderators, players can report anyone with `/report [player]`, and voice chat can be switched off. Playing is free; our store is optional and handled by Tebex. If you have a question or a concern, email us at **<info@mc-blaze.com>**.

## What is Blaze Gaming?

Blaze Gaming is an independent, fan-made Minecraft network that has run Pokémon servers since 2018. Players catch, train and battle Pokémon inside Minecraft using two free fan-made mods, Pixelmon and Cobblemon. We're not affiliated with Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, Game Freak, Mojang or Microsoft.

Your child needs a paid copy of Minecraft: Java Edition on a computer. Our servers don't run on Bedrock, consoles or phones, and cracked or offline launchers such as TLauncher can't join. [Cobblemon vs Pixelmon](/info-pages/cobblemon-vs-pixelmon.md) explains the two servers.

## Is there an age limit?

There's no age limit to play on our servers. Our Discord community follows Discord's own rules, so Discord users must be 13 or older.

## How is chat moderated?

* **Automatic chat filter:** chat on our servers goes through an automatic filter.
* **Staff moderators:** our staff team moderates chat and enforces the rules for each server: [Pixelmon rules](https://mc-blaze.com/pixelmon-rules/) and [Cobblemon rules](https://mc-blaze.com/cobblemon-rules/).
* **The same rules apply in voice chat.**

## How do I report a player?

* **In game:** type `/report [player]` to alert our staff.
* **On Discord:** open a support ticket in our [Discord](https://discord.gg/blaze). Younger players can report in game or by email instead.
* **By email:** write to **<info@mc-blaze.com>**.

## Voice chat

Our modpacks include Simple Voice Chat, a proximity voice chat: players nearby in the game can hear each other. It uses the mod's default keys:

* **N** turns voice chat off.
* **M** mutes your own microphone.
* **V** opens the voice chat menu.

Our chat rules apply to voice chat too, and players can be reported the same way. Players can also record voice chat with the mod. Our [Voice Chat guide](/features/simple-voice-chat.md) shows how to mute or turn down a player, and how to switch voice chat off.

## Does it cost money?

No. Both servers are free to play. We have an optional [store](https://store.mc-blaze.com/) that sells:

* **ranks**, which add perks and include some one-time rewards;
* **crate keys** and **spin bundles**, which give a random reward; players can left-click a crate in game to see its possible rewards before opening it;
* **Blazebux** (our second currency) and **gift cards**.

Payments are handled by **Tebex**, which sells our store items and handles payment, billing and refunds. We don't store card details. Purchases are final: the Tebex Terms of Service say there are no refunds except where consumer law requires one. For a billing question, contact Tebex first, or email us. [Server Currencies & Ranks](/info-pages/server-currencies.md) explains what each item does.

{% hint style="info" %}
Players can also flip a coin against each other for coins, Blazebux, Pokémon or items with `/coinflip`. Blazebux can also be bought in our store, so you may want to talk about this with your child.
{% endhint %}

## What data do you keep?

Like any Minecraft server, we keep the usual server logs, such as usernames, chat and connection data, to moderate the servers and handle reports. Card payments go through Tebex, and we don't store card details.

## How do I contact Blaze Gaming?

Email **<info@mc-blaze.com>**, or open a support ticket in our [Discord](https://discord.gg/blaze).

*Checked for Storm V (Pixelmon) and Infinity I (Cobblemon). Spotted a mistake? Tell us in our* [*Discord*](https://discord.gg/blaze)*.*
