# Seasons & Resets: What Carries Over
How often Blaze Gaming's Pixelmon and Cobblemon servers reset, and what carries over to a new season: rank, cosmetics, Blazebux, Vote Points and Reset Vault.

**Short answer:** each of our servers starts a fresh season roughly once a year. Your rank and its perks, your cosmetics and tags, your Blazebux, your Vote Points and the items in your Reset Vault come with you. Your Pokémon, other items, coins, land claims, builds and Pokédex progress start fresh.

Each server has its own seasons, so a Pixelmon reset doesn't affect Cobblemon, and the other way round.
## What carries over and what starts fresh

Unopened crate keys and spins are items too, so use them before a reset. Ranks from our [store](https://store.mc-blaze.com/) add Reset Vault slots for items you want to keep (see [Server Currencies & Ranks](/info-pages/server-currencies.md#ranks)).
## When is the next reset?
There's no date yet. We announce every new season ahead of time in our [Discord](https://discord.gg/blaze). How much notice we give can vary, so keep an eye on the announcements.
## Coming back after a long break?
1. **Update your modpack** before you launch: Pixelmon Plus+ in CurseForge, and Cobblemon Plus+ in CurseForge or the Modrinth App. Our [install guide](/guides/modpack-installation-guide.md) covers both.
2. **Check the versions** on [Server IP & Versions](/info-pages/server-information.md) if you play without our modpack.
3. **Start the new season.** If a reset happened while you were away, your rank and its perks, your cosmetics and tags, your Blazebux, your Vote Points and your Reset Vault items are waiting for you. ## Frequently asked questions
### Will I lose my rank when a server resets?
No. Your rank and its perks carry over to the new season.
### Do my Blazebux and Vote Points carry over?
Yes, both. Blazebux stay on the server where you have them, and Vote Points are shared by both servers.
### Will my Pokémon carry over?
No. Your Pokémon, items, coins and land claims start fresh in the new season. Only the items in your Reset Vault come with you.
### What is the Reset Vault?
A vault whose items carry over to the next season. Ranks from our store add Reset Vault slots.
### Where do I find out when a new season starts?
In our [Discord](https://discord.gg/blaze) announcements. We post every new season there ahead of time.
