space.vars.SERVER\_IP and pick a server, or join one directly at space.vars.PIXELMON\_DIRECT\_IP (Pixelmon) or space.vars.COBBLEMON\_DIRECT\_IP (Cobblemon). Both servers are free to play on Minecraft Java Edition.

**Pixelmon** is our longest-running and most successful game mode. It has been running since 2018, through Minecraft 1.12 and 1.16.5, and is now on space.vars.PIXELMON\_MC\_VERSION.
**Cobblemon** is our newest game mode. It launched on December 4th, 2025, and we're still on its first season, adding new features one update at a time.
We aim to reset each server roughly once a year, so there's always a fresh season to look forward to. ## How do I join?
1. Install the official modpack for the server you want (Pixelmon Plus+ or Cobblemon Plus+) with the CurseForge app, or the Modrinth App for Cobblemon. The [Modpack Installation Guide](/guides/modpack-installation-guide.md) walks you through every step, with screenshots.
2. Launch the modpack and open **Multiplayer**.
3. Blaze Gaming is already in your server list, so just click it and **Join**. If it isn't, add space.vars.SERVER\_IP.

You can also join with any Pixelmon (NeoForge) or Cobblemon (Fabric) client on the matching version, but we recommend our modpack: it has our resource pack built in, includes mods tailored to smooth out performance, and gives you one-time rewards the first time you join each server.
## What can I do on Blaze?

* **Community events:** hosted Wednesday to Sunday, plus a monthly tournament on each server (on Pixelmon, the Mega Monthly Tournament, or MMT).

## Frequently asked questions
### Is Blaze Gaming free to play?
Yes. Both servers are free to play. Our optional [Store](https://store.mc-blaze.com/) offers perks like permanent flight, extra player vaults and donor kits for players who want to support the server.
### Can I play on Bedrock Edition?
No. Pixelmon and Cobblemon don't officially support Bedrock, so our servers are Java Edition only.
